The first China-France Joint Nuclear Physics Symposium will be held in the Maison d’Hotes of GANIL, Caen, France from April 10th to April 13th, 2018. The Symposium will be dedicated to the presentation and discussion of projects in fundamental nuclear physics and its applications.
It will provide an opportunity for the scientific community and different collaborations to come together to present new ideas of joint projects and to explore the synergies between the research programs in both countries.
The symposium will deal with the following topics:
1) theoretical and experimental nuclear physics with heavy ions,
2) accelerators and detectors for nuclear physics experiments,
3) medical applications of nuclear physics.
The symposium will start on Tuesday morning, April 10th and finish on Friday April 13th at noon.
A visit of the GANIL accelerator facility will be organised during the symposium. The Friday April 13th afternoon will be dedicated to an excursion to the famous Mont Saint-Michel.
